Google just released Gemini 2 Flash model a few days ago and I also tested the prompt "What are AI Agents and please help list 20 AI Agents examples", the AI Search ability of Gemini 2 models. Overall, I think it gave a good response at least comparable to ChatGPT Search's response. First of all, it highlights the key characteristics of AI agents as "Perception, Decision-making, Action, Autonomy, Learning". Then it listed 20 examples of AI Agents' application in various industries and domains, such as Chatbots, Recommendation Systems, Autonomous Vehicles, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Bots, etc. The complete responses from Gemini are also attached. AI Agents AI agents are computer programs that can perceive their environment, make decisions, and take actions to achieve specific goals. They are designed to be autonomous and intelligent, capable of adapting to changing circumstances and learning from their experiences. Key characteristics of AI agents: Perception: They can sense and interpret information from their environment through sensors or data inputs. Decision-making: They use algorithms and logic to process information and choose the best course of action. Action: They can execute actions in their environment, such as moving, manipulating objects, or communicating. Autonomy: They can operate independently without constant human intervention. Learning: They can improve their performance over time by learning from their experiences. 20 AI Agent Examples: Here are 20 examples of AI agents across various domains: Virtual Assistants (e.g., Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant): These agents can understand natural language, respond to voice commands, and perform tasks like setting reminders, playing music, and answering questions. Chatbots: These agents can engage in conversations with humans through text or voice interfaces, providing customer support, answering queries, or offering recommendations. Recommendation Systems: These agents analyze user preferences and behavior to suggest products, movies, music, or other content that users might find interesting.

Perplexity's responses to me question is informative but not as helpful as I think. "Should I buy health insurance for my mom who is above 50 years old already?" and follow up question ""My mom has broken her legs and is on wheels right now. And I am wondering if it's economic to buy additional health insurance." Overall, I think it does give me some information about factors to consider when making choices about wether to but the insurance, like her current coverage, pre-existing condition, additional coverage economically beneficial. And it also points out two resources Medicare or Medicaid. But the replies is too general, which means that I have difficulty making the choice. And I needs some more practical advices: 1. What's the difference in expected cost out-of-pocket money VS buying insurance? 2. How will people usually make decisions? Prompt: You are an insurance agent and I am going to ask you a few questions. The first question is "Should I buy health insurance for my mom who is above 50 years old already?" And The second question is "My mom has broken her legs and is on wheels right now. And I am wondering if it's economic to buy additional health insurance."
